ASSOCIATIONS
American Association of University Women, Youngstown Branch, will meet at 11:30 a.m. Dec. 2 at the Youngstown Club, 201 E. Commerce St., for a holiday luncheon and guest day. AUXILIARIES
Eighth District Auxiliary, Veterans of Foreign Wars, will meet Dec. 3 at Cross of Malta VFW Post 6730, 206 E. Ohio Ave., Sebring. Scheduled are: breakfast, 7:30 to 9:30 a.m.; registration, 7:30 a.m. to noon; and the meeting, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. New socks and toiletry items will be collected for the District Eight hospital visit. Lap robes and displays in the Buddy Poppy promotional and artistic categories will be judged. Treasurers are to take membership transmittals to the meeting, and Christmas and birthday cards will be collected for children at the VFW National Home for Children. Dec. 6 is the deadline for Voice of Democracy and Patriot Pen contest entries.
Flora McDonald Auxiliary will meet at 11:30 a.m. Dec. 2 at Springfield Grille for lunch and a gift exchange.
CLASSES

CLUBS
Antique Tractor Club of Trumbull County will hold a Christmas dinner for members at 6 p.m. Dec. 1 at Gardenbrook Banquet Hall, state Route 5, north of Cortland. Call (330) 544-6890 for reservations.
Le Cercle Francais will hold a French Christmas celebration Dec. 16 at the Youngstown Club, 201 E. Commerce St. There will be a reception and cash bar at 6 p.m., dinner at 6:30 and a program on George Sand by Damaris Peters Pike, professor of music emerita at Hiram College. French carols will be sung. The dinner entrees are filet mignon, stuffed orange roughy or Tuscan chicken, and the cost is 25. New Middletown Homemakers will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at C & amp;C Mobile Home Court. Hostesses will be Esther Boyce and Florence Rearick.
Ohio Cultural Alliance will meet at 6 p.m. Dec. 4 at the Maronite Center, 1555 S. Meridian Road, Youngstown. The Rev. Morris Lee, pastor of Third Baptist Church, will speak on "Enriching Elements of Life: Religion." The Harambee Dancers will entertain, and the dinner will be catered. Poland Women's Club will meet at noon Dec. 4 at Cafe Capri in Boardman for a Christmas luncheon. Guests are welcome. Nancy Varley, hostess, will be assisted by Sandra Smith and Leslie Williams.
Youngstown American Hungarian Club, 2219 Donald Ave., will hold a Christmas party at 1 p.m. Dec. 3. Members are asked to take a casserole or dessert appropriate for the number in their party. Dublin Grange will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the grange. The state grange convention report will be given by Earl and Zella Baker.
LIBRARY FRIENDS
Friends of Boardman Library will have a Christmas luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Dec. 11 at the Holiday Inn South. Members and guests have until Dec. 6 to make reservations by calling (330) 757-0172. Entree choices are chicken marsala, London broil or baked scrod, and cost is 16 each. Beginning in January, books and tapes will be collected for the book cart on the first and third Saturday of each month.

Canfield Republican Women's Club will have a Christmas luncheon Dec. 6 at A La Cart Catering, Canfield, beginning with a social at 11:30 a.m. and lunch at noon. Guests are welcome. SINGLES
D.A.R.E., a social group for divorced, widowed or separated people, will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Disciples Christian Church, 565 Boardman-Canfield Road. Other activities include: Monday, meet at food court at 6:30 p.m. for walk in mall; Tuesday and Wednesday, dance lessons with Judy Conti at 7 p.m. at Wedgewood Plaza, cost is 5; and Thursday, game night at the church.
