Victorian Holiday Walk to feature nutcrackers, music, arts and crafts

WARREN -- A collection of antique-style nutcrackers will decorate the Victorian parlor of the Sutliff Museum on Dec. 3, when the Victorian Holiday Walk will take place.
Music and traditional arts and crafts demonstrations will entertain visitors from noon to 7 p.m., and light refreshments will be served.
Located on the second floor of the Warren Trumbull County Public Library, the museum is dedicated to bringing a glimpse of Victorian life to modern generations.
People doing the Victorian Holiday Walk along "Millionaires' Row" (Mahoning Avenue Northwest) can time their visits to the Sutliff to be at the museum for one or more of the scheduled musical performances of carols and holiday tunes.
At 1:30, the women's barbershop quartet Four For The Show will sing; at 3:30, a flute trio from Howland High School will perform; and at 5:30, The Dana Chamber Winds from Youngstown State University will play.
Performing the traditional holiday music will be, in Four For The Show, Emma Elliott, Tessa Bixler, Terry Bayowski and Meredith Elliott; in the flute trio, Jessica Eddy, Claire Gysegum and Michael Woods; in the Dana Chamber Winds group, faculty members Donald W. Byo, bassoon; Kathryn Umble, flute; Ted Perkins, oboe; and student Emily Barlowe, clarinet.
