The Warren Board of Education handled these matters at its Tuesday meeting:
Adopted "Psychology: Principles in Practice," a book published by Holt, Rinehart and Winston, for use in 11th- and 12th-grade classes.
Accepted the resignation of Melissa Watson, principal at Lincoln Elementary at Devon effective Dec. 1. Watson accepted a position with the Trumbull County Educational Services Center.
Awarded a 28,404 contract to the Great American Insurance Co. for builders risk insurance. The insurance is for the construction of the kindergarten through eighth-grade school on Willard Avenue Southeast.
Approved a 91,778.50 change order for the natatorium in the future Warren G. Harding High School. The change order was for the heating and cooling system.
