Nov. 17
Theft, Drugs: Two men were arrested after they fled on foot from Giant Eagle, 525 E. Main St. A 27-year-old Niles man was arrested on charges of theft, possession of drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia. Police said the Niles man stole four bottles of baby formula and a Samsung cell phone from the store. An FBI agent advised that the theft is part of an organized crime ring stealing baby formula from Ohio and Pennsylvania Giant Eagles. The Niles man later admitted stealing baby formula from a Hermitage, Pa., Giant Eagle. A 31-year-old Warren man was arrested on an unspecified Liberty warrant.
Drug paraphernalia: Three juveniles were arrested on North Broad Street and face various delinquency charges. A 17-year-old Austintown girl was charged with possession of a plastic bag of marijuana, a 15-year-old Austintown boy was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and a 15-year-old Youngstown boy was charged with possession, drug abuse, obtaining, possessing and use when police found a plastic bag of marijuana on him.

Breaking and entering: Someone entered Certified Oil, 825 N. Canfield-Niles Road, through a glass door and stole cigarettes.
Drug offense: An Austintown man was arrested at Big Lots, 4341 Kirk Road, on charges of possession of heroin and drug abuse instruments .
Counterfeit check: A counterfeit check was passed by a woman at Cracker Barrel Restaurant, 5600 Interstate Blvd.
Theft: A mailbox was stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Elmwood Avenue.
Theft: A Samsung cell phone was stolen from an apartment in the 900 block of Compass West.

Breaking and entering: A concession stand at Austintown Fitch High school, 4560 Falcon Drive was broken into, but nothing was missing.
Breaking and entering: A shed door was pried open but nothing was missing at Skate Zone, 5420 Mahoning Ave. A Pepsi machine was damaged at the site.
Theft: A purse and its contents were stolen at Treasure Island, 4417 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle window was damaged in the 1000 block of Laurie Drive.
Breaking and entering: A door was damaged but nothing was reported missing at Ryder Truck Rental, 650 N. Meridian Road.

Theft from auto: An AM-FM compact disc player was stolen from an auto at a home in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft: A man was arrested at Sheetz Gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave., on a theft charge.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle window was broken at apartments in the 1000 block of Compass West.
Drug offense: A Vienna woman was arrested on North Canfield-Niles Road on charges of possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and possession of dangerous drugs.
Theft: An Xbox 360 game system was stolen at K-Mart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.
Theft from auto: Purse and contents were stolen from an auto in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.
Aggravated robbery: A male wearing dark clothes and a ski mask and carrying a handgun stole money and cigarettes from News and Lottery, 1735 S. Raccoon Road.
Nov. 16
Drug offense: A Columbus, Ohio woman was charged with drug abuse and permitting drug abuse and a man from Grand Valley, Pa. was charged with felony drug abuse, misdemeanor drug abuse, felony drug abuse, possession of drug paraphernalia and permitting drug abuse. They were arrested at state Route 46 and Seventy-Six Drive.
Theft from auto: An AM-FM compact disc player was stolen from an auto in an apartment building in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft: A Visa debit card was stolen from the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft: A pair of boots was stolen from Payless Shoe Source, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at Arby's, 701 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft: A debit card was reported stolen at Hollywood Video, 5225 Mahoning Ave.

Theft from auto: A leather NFL coat was stolen from Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: A window was shot with a pellet gun in the 2000 block of South Raccoon Road.
Fraud: A temporary charge account was opened under a victim's name at J.C. Penney Co., 6000 Mahoning Ave., and 910 was charged.
Attempted breaking and entering: Someone tried to throw a brick through the window at Raccoon Beer & amp; Wine, 3120 S. Raccoon Road.
Receiving stolen property: A man was arrested at K-Mart, 4475 Mahoning Ave. on a charge of receiving stolen property.
Counterfeit check: A counterfeit check was passed at Seven-Seventeen Credit Union, 6460 Mahoning Ave.
Drug offense: A Fowler man was jailed after being arrested at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road on charges of felony drug abuse, drug paraphernalia and permitting drug abuse.
Drug offense: A Youngstown woman was arrested at Mahoning Avenue and Meridian Road on charges of possession of cocaine, felony drug abuse and drug paraphernalia

Theft: Numerous jewelry items were stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Black Oak Lane.
Stolen plate: A rear Ohio license plate was stolen from a vehicle at Mahoning Avenue and state Route 11.
Drug offense: Police arrested an Austintown man for possession of drug paraphernalia and being intoxicated in the roadway at Pete "N Charlie's, 4176 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A boy's green bicycle was stolen from a home in the 300 block of Rosemont Avenue.

Theft from auto: Tools were stolen from a tool box in an auto parked at home in the 6000 block of Mahoning Ave.
Attempted theft: A suspect fled after attempting to steal from a trailer in the 5000 block of Mahoning Avenue.
Auto theft: A 1990 Oldsmobile Delta 88 was stolen from Perkins, 5550 Interstate Blvd.
Theft from auto: A cell phone and cash were stolen from an apartment in the 500 block of Wilcox Drive.
Burglary: A woman's leather coat was stolen from a home in the 5000 block of Callaway Circle.
