CAMPBELL -- The board of education Monday offered a two-year probationary contract effective in January to Nora Montanez, making her the district's next treasurer.
Since August, Montanez has served as interim treasurer. She is replacing Treasurer Pat McLaughlin, who retired in July after holding the post since 1999.
Montanez's annual salary will be 60,847, Superintendent Thomas D. Robey said.
