Ribbon-cutting setat Plato's Closet
BOARDMAN -- A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Plato's Closet, a new store at 82 Boardman-Poland Road.
The store buys and sells used clothes with name-brand labels.
The store is targeted at teenagers and young adults.
Plato's Closet has 220 franchised locations.
It is part of the Minneapolis-based Winmark Corp., which also owns Play It Again Sports and other retailers.
Trumbull Mobile Meals having open house
WARREN -- Trumbull Mobile Meals, 323, E. Market St., will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house at 2 p.m. today.
It provides home-delivered meals to ill or frail residents of Trumbull County.
The agency has used local hospitals to prepare its food, but it recently bought its own building, where meals will be prepared.
The Trumbull County Medical Society Alliance started the agency in 1970.
