Lisbon dispatcher honored
Sandra L. Rafferty, a dispatcher with the Ohio State Highway Patrol, has been selected for the Lisbon patrol post's 2006 Ohio State Highway Patrol Telecommunications Award.
Troopers and other dispatchers selected Rafferty, 43, of East Palestine, for the dispatcher of the year award based on her knowledge of the job, ability, enthusiasm, teamwork, and prompt and courteous response to the public's requests for information and assistance, the post announced Tuesday.
She joined the post in 1990. She also was named the post's dispatcher of the year in 1996.
