Links chapter to sponsor annual gift-giving brunch

YOUNGSTOWN -- The Youngstown Chapter of The Links Inc. will hold an annual Christmas gift-giving brunch from 1 to 4 p.m. Dec. 10 at Mr. Anthony's 7440 South Ave. Ext., Boardman.
The organization has chosen "New Orleans Jazzy Brunch" as the theme for the event.
Those attending the brunch are asked to take an unwrapped gift suitable for a child 3 to 16. The toys and gifts will be distributed to children served by Sojourner House, The Needle's Eye and The Beatitude House.
A portion of the proceeds from the New Orleans flavored fund-raiser will benefit the Ursuline Sisters HIV/AIDS Children's Ministry.
Entertainment will include a preview of fur fashions for the upcoming season and musical entertainment. There will also be a Chinese auction and silent auction.
Tickets for the brunch are $35 and may be purchased from any member of The Links. Virginia Banks-Bright is social committee chairwoman and Anne R. Cobbin is chapter president.
