Garden club to install slate of officers

YOUNGSTOWN -- Immaculate Heart Garden Club elected new officers at its Nov. 9 meeting at the rectory meeting room.
The slate will take office during an installation ceremony Dec. 14 . Those assuming the duties of various offices will be Charlene Flesch, president; Mary Lozier, vice president and program chairman; Ann Mae Hlebak, treasurer; and Flo Arndt, secretary.
In addition to holding the election, plans were finalized for projects for the upcoming year. Afterward the group traveled to the Antonine Sisters Adult Day Care in North Jackson for a horticultural therapy project with patients and a luncheon.
