BOARDMAN -- Married at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 14 at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park, were John Globeck, 3764 E. Calla Road, Poland, and Cery Rogers, 11486 Rapp Road, New Middletown. The couple were honored afterward at a reception held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church Hall, Youngstown.
The Rev. Dale Crum officiated for the daughter of Rick and Judy Rogers of the New Middletown address and the son of Debra Globeck, 1973 Overlook Ave., Youngstown, and Ralph Globeck, 2798 Tibbetts-Wick Road, Hubbard.
After a wedding trip to Tennessee, the couple live at the groom's address.
The bride's strapless gown featured a corset-style bodice and chapel train.
Chocolate-colored gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Sarah Grope, and the bridesmaids, Lori Shandor; Jessica Novak; Alex Globeck, the groom's sister; Michelle Kautman; Liz Simko; and Ashley Pratt, the bride's niece. Flower girl was Maci Varjaski, cousin of the groom.
Al DeVault was best man, and groomsmen were William Valinsky; Aaron Globeck, the groom's brother; Eric Rogers, brother of the bride; Jim Stanislaw; and Mike Jones. The bride's cousin, Nicholas Rispinto, was ring bearer.
The bride graduated from Ashland University with a bachelor's degree. She is the activity director with Concord Care Center of Cortland. The groom is employed in maintenance with Extreme Machine and Fabrication Inc., Youngstown.
