Michigan's Warren connection is certainly making its mark early. Mario Manningham has three catches for 58 yards, including a 25-yarder that led to the Wolverines' touchdown. And Prescott Burgess has been in on a number of tackles already.

The game started off quickly, with each team scoring on its first possession. In fact, Michigan didn't have a third down until well into its second possession.

The game has slowed a little in the next possessions, but I'm beginning to wonder if that defensive battle we all predicted might not take place after all.
