OSU 28, Michigan 14 (Halftime)

Memo to Heisman Trophy engraver: T-R-O-Y. S-M-I-T-H.

If the Buckeyes' quarterback didn't have the Heisman Trophy wrapped up before Saturday, his first-half performance against the Michigan defense should have made up the mind of any voter still wondering. Smith was 21-of-26 for 241 yards and three TDs as the Buckeyes took control of the game.

Ted Ginn Jr. has caught six passes (and, Michigan secondary, how do you let him get behind you?), Brian Robiskie and Anthony Gonzalez have four each, and the Buckeyes have already more than doubled the number of rush yards the Wolverines have allowed per game.
