Collins leads Rondinelli

STRUTHERS -- Corey Collins tossed a complete game as Rondinelli handed Astro Falcons their first defeat, 8-3, in Class B League action Sunday at Cene Park.
Collins allowed three runs on four hits, had five strikeouts and walked three. He also added a pair of singles, while Frank Rosile had a double.
For Astros Mike Dota had a triple and a single while Drew Turocy had a pair of hits. Astro pitchers walked eight men in the game, four of whom scored.
Mink Financial 13,Youngstown Express 3
Frank Larubbio had a single, double, and a triple and two RBIs to pace Mink's 14-hit attack. Brett Grabman, Robert Porter, and Corey Vukovic had two hits each for Mink (2-1). Anthony Ragozine went the first four innings for the win as he had six strikeouts.
Rick Olesky had a double for Express (0-3).
Dave Sugar Excavating 14,Roth Brothers 4
Dave Sugar (2-1) scored seven unearned runs on six Roth errors.
Andy Richey had a pair of hits, including a double while Mark Mariner went the first four innings for the win. He allowed two earned runs and had three strikeouts. For Roth (1-2) Steve Zentko had a two-run double.
R & amp; J Trucking 9,Dave Sugar Excavating 6
Late Saturday, R & amp; J Trucking scored three times in the bottom of the sixth inning. All three runs were unearned as Sugar committed eight errors in the contest, leading to eight unearned runs. CJ Morris, Steve McNeely, and Travis McCarthy had two hits for R & amp;J, with one of McCarthy's hits a triple. Jim Pasquine was the winner in relief. Dave Diyorio, Jeff Musick, and Jon Brady had a pair of hits each for Sugar (1-1).
Astro Falcons 2,Wharmby Sports 1
The Astro Falcons broke open a scoreless game with two runs in the sixth, and Kyle Smith made the runs hold up as he struck out 14 in a complete-game win. A one out triple by Jared Bartholomew scored the first run, and Bartholomew scored the game winner on a wild pitch. Ty Womer drove home the only run for Wharmby's in the bottom of the sixth with a single. John Thomas allowed just two hits in 52/3 innings. Thomas had six strikeouts and walked four.
