Spirit of the Valley officers inducted, plans made for future performances

STRUTHERS -- The installation of officers took place during a dinner held by Spirit of the Valley Chapter of Sweet Adelines International on May 15 at Dona Vito's Italian Grille.
Janet Cretella of Girard served as installing officer for Beverly Miller of Lowellville, president; Marilyn Van Fossan of Leetonia, vice president; Peg Simone of Poland, secretary; and Dottie Wakin of Boardman, treasurer.
Serving as members of the executive board will be Kathleen Shutrump of Canfield, Ellie Carter of Lake Milton, Mary Ann Beach of Hubbard and Eileen Kosta of Cortland.
Dr. Scott Dorsey of Mount Union College will serve as director of the chorus, as members begin a new repertoire of songs for future performances and for competition next spring.
