"American Experience: The Man Behind Hitler" (9 p.m., PBS): Called the "genius of spin" and the "Reich-Liar-General," he is synonymous with political propaganda. His legacy is one of maniacal cruelty and unwavering devotion to the Nazi cause. Joseph Goebbels was the mastermind behind Adolf Hitler's evil vision. "American Experience" presents "The Man Behind Hitler," an account of Goebbels in his own words. Taken straight from the journals he kept from 1924, when he joined the Nazi Party, until his suicide in 1945, this self-portrait is recited by actor Kenneth Branagh. The 90-minute film also features never-before-seen historical footage as it explores Goebbels' initial attraction to the Nazi Party, his adoration of Hitler, his wild extermination fantasies and gruesome end.
"24" (8 p.m., Fox): It's been another very long and trying day for Jack Bauer, to say the least. But tonight the turbo-charged season of "24" mercifully comes to an end with a two-hour extravaganza. We're expecting the usual assortment of "shocking developments," as well as an insanely intense confrontation between Jack and the despicable president.
"Two and a Half Men" (9 p.m., CBS): In the season finale of "Two and a Half Men," Charlie and Mia try to plan their wedding while encountering complications on both sides of the family. Will they go through with it or not? We're betting on the latter, but we've been wrong before.
"Alias" (9 p.m., ABC): After spending five seasons squeezing into all kinds of skimpy outfits, jetting to exotic locales and kicking bad guys in the noggin, our beloved Sydney Bristow undertakes one last mission in the series finale of "Alias." The two-hour episode has Sloane abducting Marshall and Rachel in an attempt to discover a crucial clue to Rambaldi's game.
