XThe engagement of Carrie L. Jarvis and Keith A. Boyer, both of 46 Shadyside Drive, Boardman, is being announced by their parents.
The bride-elect is a daughter of Nancy Jarvis, 1670 Brownlee Ave., Youngstown, and the late John Jarvis. Her fianc & eacute; is a son of Raymond and Beverly Boyer, 42 Maple Drive, Boardman.
The open wedding will be held at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 5 at Woodland Haven at Western Reserve United Methodist Church in Canfield. Invitations will be issued for the reception at Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Hall in Youngstown.
The bride-elect graduated from Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pa., with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and is working on a master's in educational administration from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix. She is employed as the primary literacy coordinator for Youngstown City School District.
The future groom, a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army for 15 years, is employed by the U.S. Postal Service.
