XYOUNGSTOWN -- Sandra Jenkin, 2650 Homestead Road, is announcing the engagement of her daughter, Vikki Lynn Jenkin of the same address, and Jeffrey Christian Griffin, a son of Margaret Poole Griffin, both of 1315 Yardley Terrace, Winston-Salem, N.C.
Miss Jenkin, also a daughter of the late David R. Jenkin, graduated from South Eastern Academy of Travel and Tourism in Kissimmee, Fla., and is a flight attendant with Continental Express Airlines, Cleveland.
Mr. Griffin studied opera performance at North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem. He is an on-air personality with CBS Radio and is employed by Wake Forest University as the Voice of the Demon Deacons football and basketball teams, also in Winston-Salem.
The couple will extend invitations for their 1 p.m. Oct. 28 wedding at the Highway Tabernacle in Austintown and for their evening reception at The Georgetown in Boardman.
