This 1-year-old barn owl, one of the birds of prey on display at Lake Milton School Days program at Lake Milton State Park, is among the birds at Birds in Flight Sanctuary of Howland. Officials there said the bird will remain in the sanctuary its entire life because a veterinarian determined the bird is deaf. About 500 pupils in third through fifth grades attended Wednesday's event at the park. The birds of prey exhibit was put on by Birds in Flight Sanctuary of Howland and Lake Milton Raptor Education Center. Story, B1
