GIRARD
March 19
Criminal mischief: A man in the 100 block of East Main Street reported someone spray-painted his vehicle.
Criminal mischief: A worker at J & amp;P Car Wash, 575 Trumbull Ave., discovered someone pried open the bill slot of a change machine.
March 20
Assault: A Warren woman alleged her former boyfriend, 46, assaulted her at his residence in the 1000 block of North State Street. The woman had a minor injury.
LIBERTY
March 15
Theft: The owner of a rental property company accused a man, formerly of Green Acres Drive, of leaving the area with $3,273 worth of rent and other money.
Breaking and entering: It was undetermined whether anything was missing after someone broke into an outside freezer at the West Fork Roadhouse, 3850 Belmont Ave.
Criminal damaging: A woman returned to her Norwick Drive residence and found 24 music boxes, carpeting and two cabinets damaged after someone apparently entered with a duplicate key.
Theft: A man took 12 three-packs of cigars from Smoker Friendly, 3814 Belmont Ave.
Criminal damaging: A man in the 4500 block of Middle Drive reported someone used a key to damage his car's finish.
Theft/criminal damaging: A woman in the 1700 block of Naylor-Lloyd Road reported her mailbox was damaged and an undetermined amount of mail removed.
March 16
Criminal damaging: A man noticed damage to a sliding-glass door at his home in the 1600 block of Shannon Road.
Theft: A man in the 6400 block of Sodom-Hutchings Road reported a $3,000 French horn, a book bag and various art supplies stolen from his car.
Theft: A Liberty Street woman accused her son, 16, of removing $20 from her coat pocket.
Theft: A man in the 3400 block of Breeze Knoll Drive reported a checkbook and three credit cards stolen from his vehicle.
Drugs: After pulling over his vehicle in the 4000 block of Belmont Avenue, police arrested a Warren man, 33, on warrants from Braceville. Original charges were drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Domestic violence: A 21-year-old Girard woman surrendered to police and faced a domestic-violence charge. Her mother, a woman in the 4700 block of Logan Way, alleged the daughter jumped her from behind and slammed her head into a door. The mother was not seriously injured.
Criminal damaging: A man reported someone used a vehicle to cause $1,000 worth of damage to his front lawn in the 1600 block of Lucretia Drive.
March 17
Theft: A Scott Street man reported his wallet, $150 and two other items stolen from his home.
Theft: A customer in his 20s left the Golden Hunan Restaurant & amp; Lounge, 3111 Belmont Ave., without paying his $40 bill.
Theft: A man in the 1400 block of Townsend Avenue reported the theft of his wallet from his vehicle.
March 18
Arrest: Authorities picked up a 20-year-old Youngstown woman at Big Lots, 3491 Belmont Ave., on a warrant accusing her of failing to appear in court to face charges of criminal damaging and endangering.
Arrests: During a traffic stop on Colonial Drive, officers arrested a 21-year-old Mentor, Ohio, man and a Youngstown man, 18. The older suspect was wanted on warrants charging him with two felony counts of criminal damaging and a misdemeanor count of contempt of court; the other man was charged with possession of drugs after suspected marijuana was found.

Arrest: Police arrested a 19-year-old Youngstown woman at a BP station, 2703 Belmont Ave., on a warrant charging her with failure to appear on a theft charge.
March 20
Theft: A Brookfield man reported the theft of a $500 tool set from a trailer in the 5900 block of Belmont Avenue.
Identity theft: An Yvonne Drive woman discovered someone cashed a $600 check at a Painesville, Ohio, bank using her name.
Theft/forgery: A Hubbard woman accused a Girard man, 23, of stealing several checks, forging her signature on one of them and cashing it for $70 at Charter One Bank, 4333 Belmont Ave.
Theft: A worker at Groover Roofing & amp; Siding, 1101 Liberty St., reported a 7 1/2-inch circular saw, a rubber heater and two other saws stolen, for a loss of $2,390.
Drugs: Police took custody of a 37-year-old Youngstown man on Gypsy Lane after stopping his vehicle. He was wanted on a warrant charging him with drug abuse.
HUBBARD
March 16
Theft: A woman reported about $50 stolen from her purse while she was at the Hubbard Community Pool, 250 Hall Ave.
Theft: A motorist left a Shell True North station, 204 W. Liberty St., without paying for gasoline.
Theft: A Jacobs Road woman discovered the theft of money from her account via the Internet.
March 17
Theft: A worker at Bell Wick Bowl, 6105 W. Liberty St., told police a boy's scooter was stolen.
Drugs: Officers issued a summons to a Hubbard woman after her car was pulled over near Moore and Jones streets. The charge was drug possession (marijuana).
March 18
Criminal damaging: An employee at Devine's Shop 'n' Save, 529 N. Main St., discovered a vending machine had been broken into.
Theft: A worker at Patton's IGA Super Center, 880 W. Liberty St., reported someone tried to return stolen batteries.
March 20
Arrest: A Hubbard woman was arrested during a traffic stop on Youngstown-Hubbard Road. Charges against her were operating a vehicle under the influence and having an open container of alcohol; her blood alcohol content was 0.179, police said.
