SARASOTA, Fla. -- Brandon Claussen gave up two runs in four innings, and Adam Dunn hit his second home run of the spring for Cincinnati. Dunn's homer to right-center off losing pitcher Ryan Vogelsong came in the fourth inning. Dunn has five hits this spring, all for extra bases. Claussen gave up a solo home run to Pittsburgh's Ryan Doumit in the second inning -- Doumit's third homer of the spring. Claussen allowed an unearned run in the third. His throwing error on a pick-off attempt allowed Rajai Davis to go to second base. Davis then went to third on a single by Jack Wilson and scored on a ground out by Sean Casey. Vogelsong gave up four runs over three innings. Claussen lowered his ERA to 2.45. Cincinnati relievers Ryan Wagner, David Weathers, Kent Mercker, Rick White and Chris Hammond each threw scoreless innings. Mercker and Hammond have not allowed a run this spring. Casey and Joe Randa, both of whom started last season with the Reds, returned to face their former teammates for the second time this spring. Casey was 0-for-3 with an RBI, while Randa doubled in two at-bats.
