Area aces
Keith Schubert of Girard aced the 125-yard No. 6 hole with a pitching wedge at Yankee Run. Del Cochran witnessed it.
Chris Tulanko of Mineral Ridge aced the No. 12 hole at Dogwood Golf Course, 265 yards with a driver. It was witnessed by James Tulanko and Devon Hunter.
Ralph Fabrizio of New Middletown aced the 165-yard, No. 17 hole with a 7-iron at Reserve Run golf course. The shot was witnessed by Ditto Daltorio and Patsey Daltorio.
Bill Daley of Austintown scored a hole-in-one on the 150-yard, No. 17 hole with a 7-iron at Reserve Run golf course. Witnesses were Bob Zetts and Jim Fordyce.
Tom E. Sarra Jr. of Girard aced the 150-yard No. 4 hole at the Mahoning Country Club in Girard. He used an 8-iron. Witnesses were Joe Vivello, Mike Drummond and Chris Esposito.
Ruth Kitchin scored a hole-in-one on the No. 9 hole at Cranberry Hills Golf Course in Champion. The hole played at 105 yards.
