Falcons click, 8-2, for 13th

Mike Dota spearheaded the attack behind Drew Turocy's pitching.
STRUTHERS -- Astro Falcons scored four runs in the top of the seventh inning to cruise to an 8-2 victory over Newell's Sporting Goods Wednesday in Class B baseball action at Cene Park.
Mike Dota's hit drove in two runs to seal the victory for Astro (13-5). He had two hits and three RBIs as winning pitcher Drew Turocy improved to 2-0.
Evan Proach had two hits and scored twice while Kyle Smith tripled and doubled.
For Newell's (8-10), Kyle Rupp had two hits.
Rondinelli 13, Wharmby Sports 3
Four of the first five Rondinelli batters scored.
Rondinelli (14-5) added another four runs in the sixth inning to seal the victory. Aaron Cosma (3-1) was the winning pitcher.
Cory Collins' three hits included a double. He scored a run and drove in three. Matt Katich and Frank Rosile each had two hits.
For Wharmby (12-7), Mike Kampfer and John Thomas had two hits apiece.
Tuesday
R & amp;J Trucking pounded out 14 hits and took advantage of seven Mink Financial errors to score seven unearned runs in a 16-7 win.
Ed Rohan, Ben Miller, Tyler Manfull, Steve McNeely and Cody Fincham had two hits each for R & amp;J (14-4). Jim Pasquine (3-1) picked up the win in relief going three innings.
Mike Barone and Frank Larubbio had two hits for Mink (7-11).
Livi Steel 7, Rondinelli Tuxedo 4
Livi Steel moved into a second place tie with Rondinelli at 13-5 in the Goldstone Division, one game back of R & amp;J.
Manoli Pahoulis, Tony Pozega, and Josh Swipas had two hits each while Josh Cooper (3-1) tossed a complete game with six strikeouts.
Phil Double, Cory Nesbit, and losing pitcher Corey Collins (3-1) had two hits each for Rondinelli. Collins had five strikeouts in three innings.
