CHAMPION -- One township man is dead and another is hospitalized after a shooting early Tuesday.
Richard B. Fluet, 21, of 5325 Alva Ave., was found dead outside his home with a gunshot wound to the face, township police said.
The other man, John A. Lichty, 26, was admitted to St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown with a gunshot wound to the face. He was listed in stable condition.
Police said they believe Lichty lived with Fluet at 5325 Alva Ave.
Police found Fluet and Lichty after responding to a shots fired call in the vicinity of Alva and High Street.
The matter is under investigation, but at this time police said no other individuals are believed to be involved.
