Livi Steel walks to win over Astro Falcons, 6-5



R & amp;J Trucking and Rondinelli Tuxedo each improved to 13-4.
STRUTHERS -- A bases-loaded walk to Marc Rossi scored the winning run as Livi Steel defeated the Astro Falcons, 6-5, in a Class B League game Sunday at Cene Park.
Tony Pozega had a three-run homer in the fifth for Livi and added a double. Derek Sumner (2-0) had a complete game with three strikeouts.
Cameron Konop had a pair of hits for the Astro Falcons.
Both teams are 12-5.
R & amp;J Trucking 12, Newell 2
Ben Miller had four hits, including a triple and a double and Ed Rohan had three doubles for R & amp;J Trucking (13-4).
Tyler Manfull added two hits and three RBIs. Miller and Rohan also drove in three runs to support Joe Fox (3-1), who did not allow an earned run. Fox fanned seven and allowed three hits. Jim Pasquine added three singles and Joe Weilbruda had two for R & amp;J.
Rondinelli 12, Roth Bros. 2
Cory Nesbitt had three hits, including a triple, while Andy Dobson, Matt Katich and Frank Rosile all had two hits for Rondinelli (13-4). Dobson, Katich and Rosile all hit doubles.
Vince Riola (4-0) allowed six hits and had four strikeouts.
Corey Sternthal had a double and a single and drove home both runs for Roth Brothers (1-15).
Wharmby 13, Yo. Express 3
Ryan Romack, Garen Ream, Ross Voicey and Kenn Lapushan had two hits each for Wharmby. Lapushan had four RBIs. John Houser had three strikeouts in the win, his second.
Nick Schiavoni had a single and a double for the Express (3-14).
Livi Steel 8, Roth Brothers 5
On Saturday, Bobby Revesz had three hits, two of them doubles, while Tony Pozega and Shane Liska had two hits each for Livi. Jordan Tanner (3-0) got the win in relief while Liska picked up his second save.
For Roth Corey Gruelle had three hits and Bill Patterson had two.
Newell 8, Yo. Express 3
Chris Page (1-3) went the distance with three strikeouts for Newell. Kyle Rupp had a pair of doubles while Ryan Morris added two hits.
Josh Dankovich doubled and singled for the Express.
Dave Sugar 6, Astro Falcons 5
In the bottom of the seventh, Eric Pirtz hit a run-scoring double and Andy Richey followed with an RBI single for Sugar. Brian Dawson (1-0) went three innings in relief for the win. Dave Diyorio had two hits for Sugar. Cameron Konop had two hits for the Astros.
