June 4
Drug abuse: Police charged a 28-year-old Brookfield man with drug abuse of marijuana after they found a small bag of marijuana on him during a traffic stop at Maple Drive and South Broad Street.
June 6
Drug abuse: Police charged a 26-year-old Akron man with drug abuse after police found the passenger of a blue Ford stopped for a cracked windshield had a small amount of suspected marijuana and the remains of two suspected marijuana cigarettes in the vehicle's ashtray.
AUSTINTOWN
June 7
Criminal damaging: Four tires were punctured on a vehicle at the Austintown Plaza, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Breaking and entering: A door was broken in at the College Park ballfields, 5706 Vassar Ave.
Criminal damaging: Paint damage was reported at St. Joseph Church, 4545 New Road.
Criminal mischief: Eggs were thrown at a home in the 100 block of Chadwick Lane.
Theft: Money was stolen from an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
June 8
Theft: A stereo was stolen from an auto at Chipper's Lounge, 5 N. Edgehill Ave.
Breaking and entering: KW Home Improvement, 4722 Mahoning Ave., was broken into, but there were no signs of forced entry.
Criminal damaging: A large vase was broken at 3 Sisters Care, 3649 Canfield Road.
Theft: A window to an auto was broken and a CD player and several CDs were stolen. The vehicle was parked at a home in the 4000 block of Rhode Island Drive.
Criminal damaging: Damage to an air conditioning unit was reported at the Comfort Inn, 5425 Clarkins Drive.
Theft: Two men were arrested at Wireless, 4774 Mahoning Ave., one on a charge of theft of a cell phone, and the second on charges of carrying a concealed weapon (a knife) and complicity to theft.
Criminal damaging: A lawn was damaged at a home in the 50 block of Parkgate Avenue.
Drug offense: Police issued a summons for a Youngstown woman for possession of drug paraphernalia at an apartment in the 800 block of N. Meridian Road.
Theft: Three pairs of shoes were stolen by three women who fled in a silver Oldsmobile Achieva at Payless Shoe Source, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at a home in the 4000 block of Nantucket Boulevard.

Breaking and entering: Three storage buildings were entered in the 3000 block of Henricks Road.
Theft: A $60 balance was left owed on a room at the Comfort Inn, 5425 Clarkins Drive.
Theft: Jewelry items and a gift card were stolen from a home in the 100 block of North Raccoon Road.
Arrest: Youngstown police arrested a man and woman on charges of auto theft at Speedway, 4401 Kirk Road.
