Poland Rotary to hold luncheon as a benefit

There will be two seatings for the benefit event.
BOARDMAN -- Poland Rotary Club has planned a benefit luncheon to take place Aug. 16 at Carrabba's Restaurant on Boardman-Poland Road.
The event will feature two seatings, one at 11:30 a.m. and the second at 1 p.m. The cost for the event are $15, all of which will go toward the club's community service projects. Tickets are available from any club member or by going to the

Among the organizations supported by Rotary activities are American Diabetes Association, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, Boy's and Girl's clubs, CASA, Easter Seals, Help Hotline, Hospice, Millcreek Children's Center, the Paula and Anthony Rich Center, Poland Interfaith Pantry, Potential Development Center, Sojourner House, Youngstown Hearing and Speech Center, Second Harvest Food Bank, Make a Wish Foundation, Mission of Love, and The YMCA DA Children.

The club meets at noon each Wednesday in the banquet room at Bruno's Restaurant, Route 224, Poland.
