XYOUNGSTOWN -- Announced by Samuel and Joyce Buzzacco, 5901 Cherrywood Drive, and Tom and Alice Manning, 273 Alameda Ave., is the engagement of their children, Samantha J. Buzzacco, of the Cherrywood Drive address, and Patrick C. Manning, 27040 Cedar Road, Beachwood.
Oct. 21 has been chosen as the date for the couple's open wedding at noon at St. Christine Church. Invitations will be issued for their reception to be held that evening at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman.
Miss Buzzacco graduated cum laude with a degree in early childhood education from John Carroll University in University Heights. She is a kindergarten teacher at Gesu School in Cleveland.
Mr. Manning is an admission counselor at John Carroll University, where he graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in English. He earned a master's degree in Irish studies at the National University of Ireland in Galway.
