CANFIELD
July 18
Theft: A check for $765 was forged and an engagement ring and a wedding band valued at approximately $8,500 were stolen from a home in the 300 block of Callahan Drive.
July 21
Breaking and entering: At the BP Gas Station, 599 E. Main Street; cartons of cigarettes were stolen.

July 17
Attempted theft: A vehicle was entered at a home in the 1000 block of Brockton Drive.
Breaking and entering: At Superior Beverage, 425 Victoria Road; beer was stolen by juveniles.
Breaking and entering: Country Side Drive Thru, 888 N. Meridian Road; cigarettes were stolen.
Recovered property: A men's 24-inch Roadmaster bicycle was recovered at a home in the 100 block of Atlanta Avenue.
Burglary: A screen was cut to gain access to a porch at a home in the 100 block of North Canfield-Niles Road.
