July 18
Theft: A check for $765 was forged and an engagement ring and a wedding band valued at approximately $8,500 were stolen from a home in the 300 block of Callahan Drive.
July 21
Breaking and entering: At the BP Gas Station, 599 E. Main Street; cartons of cigarettes were stolen.
AUSTINTOWN
July 17
Attempted theft: A vehicle was entered at a home in the 1000 block of Brockton Drive.
Breaking and entering: At Superior Beverage, 425 Victoria Road; beer was stolen by juveniles.
Breaking and entering: Country Side Drive Thru, 888 N. Meridian Road; cigarettes were stolen.
Recovered property: A men's 24-inch Roadmaster bicycle was recovered at a home in the 100 block of Atlanta Avenue.
Burglary: A screen was cut to gain access to a porch at a home in the 100 block of North Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft: A red and chrome men's Schwinn bike was stolen from a home in the 100 block of Atlanta Avenue.
Attempted breaking and entering: A window was damaged at Davis Elementary School, 4302 Maple Ave.

Criminal damaging: A yard was damaged at a home in the 500 block of Forest Hill Drive.
Theft: A purse containing money was stolen from an auto at a home in the 3000 block of Ayshire Drive.
Drug offense: A man was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at McQuaid's, 702 N. Meridian Road.

Drug arrest: $11,000 in U.S. currency and a 1997 BMW were recovered after an arrest on Interstate 80 at Salt Springs Road.

Drug offense: A Girard man was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana at Forest Hill Drive and Oakleigh Street.
