MARIANNE RAGANSHAWN DONLEY
XYOUNGSTOWN -- Marianne Louise Ragan and Shawn Allen Donley were united in marriage at 2 p.m. July 1 at St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church. Officiating were the Very Rev. Richard Lambert and the Rev. James A. Ragan.
A reception was held at St. Mary's Assumption Social Center for the daughter of John T. and Annette Ragan, 3353 DeCamp Road, and the son of Kay Johnston of Columbia Avenue, Newton Falls, and Gerald Donley, Karl Avenue, Warren.
After a motor tour along the East coast and to Sanibel Island, Fla., the couple live at 1397 Leyton Drive.
The bride's white A-line gown featured an off-the-shoulder beaded basque bodice, a full tulle skirt and a train.
Navy-blue gowns were worn by the honor attendant, JoAnn Ragan, and the bridesmaids, Keri Donley, Jennifer Myers and Dr. Amber Ausnehmer. Flower girl was Carmella Donley.
Stephen Timko was best man, and groomsmen were John A. Ragan, Jerome Weidner and Michael Miller. Ring bearer was Sammy Johnston.
The bride, a science teacher with Newton Falls Exempted Village School District, graduated cum laude from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in education and from Westminster College with a master's in school counseling. The groom is president-owner of DNS Technology Consultants Inc. and technology coordinator for Newton Falls school district with Trumbull County Educational Service Center. He is attending Kent State University, Trumbull Campus.
