HANOVERTON -- Columbiana County Engineer Bert Dawson is one of several speakers scheduled to appear Thursday at the Guilford Lake Civil Association's third meeting of the summer.
Dawson will update the group on the status of the Winona sewer project. Matt Wolfe of Ohio Department of Natural Resources will bring information about fish habitat at the lake.
Cynthia Koonce will discuss the status of the Columbiana County Land Use Survey, and Cecil Conkle, past commodore of the Guilford Lake Boat Club, will report on the July 4th boat parade. County commissioners and Hanover Township trustees also have been invited.
The meeting will be at the Ruritan Pavilion at Guilford Lake and will start at 7 p.m. The public is invited to attend the town hall-style meeting. People who wishing to join the association also are welcome. Dues are $2.50 per person per year.
