XASHEVILLE, N.C. -- Biltmore Estate was the setting for the June 24 wedding for Kelly Ann Minchin and David Trexler.
The Rev. Dennis Shipman officiated, and a reception followed in the Lioncrest Ballroom at the estates.
The bride is a daughter of Michael R. and Candace S. Minchin of 3787 Vira Road, Stow, formerly of Struthers. The groom is a son of Carolyn Trexler of Asheville and the late Howard Trexler.
The bride's gown of natural French Alencon lace was trimmed with crystals and designed with a strapless bodice and a pickup skirt with a dropped waist and a V-back.
Her attendants, wearing black dresses, were her sister, Amanda Minchin, maid of honor; and bridesmaids Kiplyn Lewis, Missy Kazazian, Sarah Jacobson, Kathy Harris, Jennifer McBride and Andrea Lockhart. The flower girl was Ileigh Lockhart.
Brian McDonald served as best man. Groomsmen were Michael Blanken, Mark Ivey, Burt Wallace, Scott Kriezel, Gabriel Sorrell and the bride's brother, Kevin Minchin.
The newlyweds honeymooned in Hawaii. They live in Greensboro.
The bride teaches second grade at Murphy Traditional Academy in Greensboro, N.C. She earned her bachelor's degree in education at Concord College in Athens, W.Va.
The groom is studying aviation technology at Guilford Technical Community College in Greensboro. He is a pilot and is self-employed.
