XEAST PALESTINE -- Louis and Cynthia Winczner, 171 W. Martin St., and Dennis and Susan Frye, 51315 state Route 14, are announcing the engagement of their children, Katie Lynn Winczner, also of 171 W. Martin St., and Steven Michael Frye, 3750 Wyndham Ridge Drive, Stow.
Miss Winczner graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education. She is a teacher with Mollie Kessler School in Youngstown.
Mr. Frye, an assistant brand manager at ICI Paints in Strongsville, earned a bachelor's degree in marketing at Baldwin-Wallace.
The couple have planned an open wedding for 2 p.m. May 27 at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park, Boardman. Their evening reception will be held by invitation at the Holiday Inn, Boardman.
