The local JA office will get $1 for every ticket bought with the discount coupon.
YOUNGSTOWN -- The world-famous Harlem Globetrotters basketball team has teamed up with Junior Achievement to offer discounts on tickets for their appearance at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Chevrolet Centre.
Discount coupons entitle the holder to a $4 discount off ticket prices, and, for each ticket purchased using the Junior Achievement coupon, the local Junior Achievement office will receive a $1 donation from the Harlem Globetrotters.
The coupons are available to anyone attending the game, and are not limited to JA students or their families. A maximum of eight tickets can be purchased with each discount coupon, but tickets must be purchase with the coupon at least 48 hours before the game.
Globetrotters University
Everyone who buys a ticket through the JA/Globetrotters discount coupon promotion will be invited to attend the Globetrotters University, an event generally offered to specific groups and not the general public that features players talking about the history of the team, offering some "real life" stories, holding a question- and-answer session and inviting participants from the audience to take part in some basketball skill handling demonstrations.

"As the Harlem Globetrotters bring fun, family entertainment to cities across the nation, their fans will be able to benefit JA's economics, business and entrepreneurship programs to help us reach more students in the Mahoning Valley and surrounding areas."
Discount coupons can be downloaded and printed from the Junior Achievement Web site at http://warren-youngstown.ja.org. Those who do not have Internet access can pick up discount coupons at Junior Achievement of Mahoning Valley, 1920 Churchill Road, Girard, during regular business hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call (330)-539-5268.
