Three gunmen hold up Sons of Italy bar

YOUNGSTOWN -- Three gunmen wearing ski masks held up the owner of the Sons of Italy bar as he left the Dearborn Street business at closing time early Friday.
The 50-year-old owner told police that he and another man were approached at the rear door and ordered back into the bar around 2 a.m. Once inside, one of the robbers put a gun to the owner's head and ordered him to shut off the alarm, which he did, but it went off unexpectedly a few minutes later.
The robber then fired one round into the floor before taking about $125 from the cash register. He then demanded money from an upstairs office and the owner complied, turning over an additional $800.
The robbers, described as black men in their 20s and dressed in dark clothing, ordered the two victims into a bathroom before fleeing, reports show.
