XBOARDMAN -- Mr. and Mrs. Ronald L. Adams, 74 Homestead Drive, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary by renewing their marriage vows Dec. 3 at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park.
Afterward they were honored during a buffet held at the Georgeanna Parker Activity Center in the park.
Hosts for the festivities were the couple's family, Laurie and Michael Kopnitsky of Las Vegas, Kathy and Kirk Lovrinovicz and Rebecca Adams, all of Boardman, and their three grandchildren.
The former Betty A. Spare and Mr. Adams were united in marriage Dec. 3, 1955, in Limestone, Pa. They are members of Evangel Baptist Church and the Speeders.
Mr. Adams served with the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955 in Korea. He retired from LTV Steel Corp. in Campbell, where he was an electrical lineman. He is a member of the 44th Combat Engineers Brokenheart Division.
