"Hi-Jinks" (9:30 p.m., Nick at Nite): The joke's on the kids as Nick at Nite launches its second season of the hidden-camera prankster series "Hi-Jinks" at 9:30 tonight. Each half-hour episode will feature adult-inflicted pranks on youngsters at home, at the mall and even in school. Each edition also includes a celebrity prank, with Jane Seymour, Tichina Arnold ("Everybody Hates Chris"), Jon Cryer, Evander Holyfield and extreme sports star Tony Hawk among the celebs who conspire with parents to prank kids. This week, Alan Thicke ("Growing Pains") tricks his 8-year-old son and friends by bringing them to a skate shop for free boards -- then, when they come back an hour later to pick up the gifts, the shop has turned into a women's clothing store!
"The Amazing Race" (9 p.m., CBS): Most fans of "The Amazing Race" will be pleased to know that the award-winning reality show has dropped the family format and returned to its two-person teams and international itineraries. The ninth season kicks off tonight with a two-hour episode that begins in Denver and has the contestants jetting off to Sao Paulo, Brazil.
