XAUSTINTOWN -- Announced by Frederick and Shirley Merlo, 4450 Rita Ave., is the engagement of their daughter, Julie Marie Merlo of the same address, and Jason Daniel Wilson, a son of Bonnie Terlecki, both of 1530 Country Club Ave., Youngstown, and the late Stanley O. Wilson.
Miss Merlo graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in geography. She is a geographic-information systems technician with Technigraphics Inc. in Wooster.
Mr. Wilson is employed by Extrudex Aluminum in North Jackson.
The couple have planned an open wedding for 2 p.m. June 10 at St. Columba Cathedral in Youngstown. They will issue invitations for their evening reception at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Hall, Youngstown.
