Wisconsin-Green Bay turns back Cleveland St.

CLEVELAND -- Ryan Tillema scored 23 points, and Ryan Evanochko made five free throws in the closing seconds Saturday, leading Wisconsin-Green Bay to a 76-72 victory over Cleveland State.
Wisconsin-Green Bay (14-15, 8-8 Horizon League) let a double-digit lead slip away in the second half, setting up a finish that came down to free throws.
Victor Morris scored a season-high 19 points for Cleveland State (10-17, 5-11), which went cold after catching up in the closing minutes. J'Nathan Bullock scored 13 points and matched his career high with 10 rebounds.
Ill.-Chicago 69, Wright St. 66, OT
CHICAGO -- Jovan Stefanov led four Illinois-Chicago players scoring in double digits as the Flames beat Wright State. Stefanov scored 19 points on 6-of-10 shooting and grabbed eight rebounds for the Flames (15-14, 8-8 Horizon League). DaShaun Wood and Tyrone Scott each scored 15 points for Wright State (13-14, 8-8).
Detroit 73, Butler 71
DETROIT ---- Jon Goode made a running jump shot with 1.3 seconds left to lift Detroit over Butler on, preventing the Bulldogs from sharing the Horizon League regular season title. Goode finished with 21 points, while Brandon Cotton added 20 for the Titans (15-15, 8-8). Bruce Horan scored 21 points for the Bulldogs (18-11, 11-5).
Kent St. 70, Miami (Ohio) 63
KENT -- Omni Smith scored 13 of his 21 points in the second half, leading a 3-point barrage that rallied Kent State over Miami (Ohio). After trailing by as many as 14 points in the first half, Kent State (21-7, 14-2 Mid-American) played more like the conference's top team and most prolific offense. The Golden Flashes shot 62.5 percent from the field in the second half, going 7-of-12 from behind the arc.
Akron 76 61
AKRON -- Romeo Travis led a closing run that swept Akron to a victory over Ohio, clinching the Zips' first 20-win season in 17 years. Akron (20-7, 13-3 Mid-American) stayed unbeaten at home and earned a first-round bye in the conference tournament.
Massachusetts 66, Dayton 47
AMHERST, Mass. -- Massachusetts used a 12-0 run early in the second half to spark a win over Dayton. Rashaun Freeman scored 15 of his 19 points and grabbed nine of his 12 rebounds after the intermission for UMass (12-13, 7-7 Atlantic 10). James Life led all scorers with 25 and held Dayton leading scorer Brian Roberts to nine points. Warren Williams led Dayton (13-15, 5-9) with 13 points.
