The final stage of renovations at historic Stambaugh Auditorium on Youngstown's North Side continued Friday with the installation of new curtains. At left, Chad Kingas of Pittsburgh Stage folds up one of the old red curtains to get it ready for removal. Below, co-worker Dan McLaughlin hangs blue curtainsinside the concert hall. The new curtains weigh thousands of pounds and will last for years, according to Pittsburgh Stage. The facility has undergone a series of improvements over the last few years, including reupholstered seats and a new audio system.
