Auctions, dancing and dinner will be featured at the event.
BOARDMAN -- The Youngstown Symphony Guild will host its annual Symphony Ball on April 1 at Mr. Anthony's.
The event will begin at 6 p.m. with cocktails and an opportunity for patrons to view items to be featured during a silent auction.
In keeping with a theme of "La Fiesta," the evening will feature a distinct Latino flavor with its strolling guitarists, salsa dance demonstrations, Spanish cuisine and music for dancing by the Sabor Latino Orchestra.
There will also be a live auction for such items as Chinese dinners for eight and spa and golf packages.
Proceeds from the festivities will benefit the orchestra and the community outreach educational programs supported by the Youngstown Symphony Society.
In recognition of the 80th season of performances by the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra, members of the orchestra will be special guests of the guild.
Mary Lou Mack is serving as chairman of the ball.
