HBA cancels event
YOUNGSTOWN -- Because of lack of participation by area builders, the Home Builders-Remodelers Association of Mahoning Valley has canceled its parade of homes scheduled for June.
James Grantz, HBA president, said Bob Struhank of Master Plan Builders came forward as a parade developer, but because of the economic climate, builders were reluctant to participate. He said, however, that a fall showcase of homes is scheduled for September.
He urges HBA developers to participate in the 2007 Parade of Homes when plans are announced at a later date.
