Deaths of girls in house fire ruled accidental

WARREN -- The Trumbull County Coroner's office has ruled the deaths of two young girls in a Nov. 16, 2005, house fire in Leavittsburg accidental and listed the cause of the deaths as smoke inhalation.
The fire originated in a bedroom at 823 McConnell Road and killed Sha'Dale Wright, 1, and AuZua Wright, 3. The children's mother, De'it Dunkerton, 27, was flown to MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland for treatment of burns. A Warren man, Shawn Price, 27, who was also in the house when the fire erupted, suffered burns on his hand.
The state fire marshal's office said it cannot discuss the fire's cause; it has sent details of its investigation to the Trumbull County Prosecutor's office.
