Ohio Drive to be repaved

LAKE MILTON -- By this spring, motorists using Ohio Drive should be in for a smoother experience.
At their meeting Tuesday, Milton Township trustees read eight bids submitted for paving about a half-mile stretch of the road beginning near Scottcliff Road.
William Sala of Thomas Fok & amp; Associates of Youngstown said the company will review the proposals and get back to trustees by the end of this week. The company added the project should get under way in about six weeks.
Also about to get under way in the township is the long-awaited sanitary sewer project, which officials anticipate will alter some traffic patterns for several months.
The work will likely cause delays, detours and possible road closures, and trustees urged motorists to exercise patience and allow extra travel time.
Trustees also gave reading to four bids submitted for a used police car. They will go over those bids before making a selection.
