Man dies of gunshot wound to the head

WARREN -- A 24-year-old Warren man died after suffering a gunshot wound to the head about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday in a house at 1078 Miller St. in Warren Township.
The coroner's office identified him as Quante J. Pruitt, of Hall Street. No ruling has been issued, and the coroner's office and township police are investigating.
Warren city police detectives went to the scene early Wednesday to help gather evidence in the shooting, which is being investigated as a homicide, said city Police Chief John Mandopoulos.
A second shooting victim, a man in his 20s, was treated at St. Joseph Health Center after being shot in the hand. Township Police Chief Thomas Rush declined to release his name, nor would he comment on any other details of the shooting or a motive.
