Austintown police arrest woman after disturbance

AUSTINTOWN -- Police arrested an township woman after a complaint she was knocking on doors and creating a disturbance at an Idlewood Avenue address, police said.
Police said Nicole DeFrank, 27, of South Edgehill Avenue was belligerent during her arrest at her car. Police said she screamed obscenities and tried to kick a window out of the police car as she was being taken back to the station.
Police charged her with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, criminal damaging and menacing, all misdemeanors. At the request of a relative, police sent her to Forum Health Northside Medical Center. There is no court record of an appearance date.
