Baldwin-Wallace 96, Mount Union 84
BEREA -- Tori Davis led five players in double figures and Baldwin-Wallace shot 58.5 percent from the floor in a first round victory in the Ohio Athletic Conference tournament.
Tyler Sekerak and Keith Aufmuth added 18 points apiece for the Yellow Jackets (22-4), the No. 1 seed, while Dan Gundert scored 15 and Brendan Schuler had 14. Gundert also had a game-high 12 rebounds.
Mount Union (7-19)'s Kyle Karpinski finished with 20 points and 11 rebounds, while Eric Fender (Poland) scored 19 points and added four assists. LJ Helton finished with 15 points for the Purple Raiders, the No. 8 seed, who trailed 56-40 at halftime.
IUP 82, Slippery Rock 72
SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- Lawrence Baker and Eddie Peterson scored 27 points apiece, leading Indiana in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference West game.
Adam Morgan added 10 points for the Indians (17-8), who shot 46 percent from the floor (32-of-70). Baker, Peterson and Morgan combined to shoot 26-for-45 (58 percent).
Slippery Rock (2-24) was led by Jamar Scales with 18 points, while Dejan Jancic added 14 points and a game-high 15 rebounds. Erroll Robinson finished with 11 points and Matt Hale scored 10.
WOMEN
IUP 56, Slippery Rock 52
SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- Jahzinga Tracey scored 13 points and had seven rebounds to lead Indiana (Pa.) over Slippery Rock.
Lizzie Suwala added 10 points and seven rebounds for the Indians (18-8, 7-4), who shot just 28 percent (18-of-64) from the floor.
Slippery Rock (13-14, 5-7) was led by Amber McFeely, with 11 points. Angela Greaser added nine points, while Amanda Chojnacki finished with eight points and six rebounds.
