XHolly Lynne Rice, 571 Como Ave., Struthers, and David Matthew Guy, 761 E. Park Ave., Columbiana, are announcing their engagement.
Parents of the bride-elect are John Rice of Petersburg and Terry Stephenson of Youngstown. The future groom is a son of Jeff and Jeanette Guy of Salem and Lori Guy of Columbiana.
Miss Rice is a registered nurse with St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown. She graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in nursing.
Mr. Guy earned a bachelor's degree in education at YSU, where he is pursuing a master's in education. He is a teacher at Fishtank Before and After School in Lisbon.
The couple have planned an open wedding for May 27 at Abundant Life Fellowship in New Waterford, where they will exchange nuptial vows during a 2 p.m. ceremony. Their evening reception will be held by invitation at Timberlanes in Salem.
