Wellsville finishes stellar season with 67-62 win over Columbiana



WELLSVILLE -- The Wellsville High School basketball team completed regular-season action Friday by turning back Columbiana 67-62 in a Tri-County League game.
The Tigers (17-3, 11-3) held off the Clippers, who rallied in the fourth quarter 21-10.
Josh Lyle led the Tigers' balanced attack with 20 points. Zane Carter chipped in with 13 while Zack Welch and Andre Bowa added 12 apiece.
The Clippers (5-15, 3-11) were led by Morgan Hart with 17 points.
Deric Graft added 16 and Joey Winters finished with 14.
Crestview 57, Lisbon 52
LISBON -- Jordon Reynolds fired in 21 points and Tony Amabile added 14 for the Rebels (12-8, 8-6).
Marcus Judy led the Blue Devils (6-13, 5-9) with 19 points.
Corey Smith chipped in with 12.
Caleb Crowl grabbed 12 rebounds.
Leetonia 57, United 56
HANOVERTON -- Leetonia (9-11, 5-9) outscored United 6-5 in overtime to prevail.
John Williams and Josh Selway paced the Bears with 19 and 18 points respectively.
Andy Kisner finished with 11.
Dan Shaffer led the Golden Eagles (5-13, 4-10) with 13 points.
Rob Muhleman added 10.
