Springfield rolls past Sebring to clinch league crown, 59-32



SEBRING -- Mike Kampfer scored 17 points and grabbed six rebounds while Andrew Schuler added 12 points with 13 rebounds as the Springfield High boys basketball team rolled past Sebring, 59-32, to win the Inter-County League championship Friday night.
Zack DeJane added eight points and 11 rebounds, Nate Schuler nine points and Jeremy Russell eight points with six rebounds for the Tigers (16-2, 13-1).
Jon Springer had 17 points to lead Sebring (7-12, 4-10 ICL), while Jesse James added 11 points and Zach Tieche five rebounds.
Mineral Ridge 95,Jackson-Milton 38
NORTH JACKSON -- Mineral Ridge senior Vance Keirsey passed 1,000 career points for the Rams.
Keirsey finished with 32 points, while Nick Diana, Josh Garland and T.J. Bevilacqua each added 10 for Ridge (18-2, 12-2).
Mike Nagy had 11 points and Matt Shields added 10 for the Bluejays (1-18, 0-14).
Western Reserve 42,South Range 41
BERLIN CENTER -- Joe Petro scored 20 points and Western Reserve held off South Range down the stretch.
Chris Truitt added 10 points for the Blue Devils (13-7, 8-6), who trailed by one point entering the fourth quarter.
David Maxwell scored 18 points and Dan Holloway added 12 for the Raiders (6-12, 4-10).
