Geneva women roll, anticipate playoffs

PITTSBURGH -- Geneva College women's basketball team rolled past Carlow 80-59, but the Golden Tornadoes are looking ahead to possibly playing host to a first-round playoff game in the American Mideast Conference North.
Ali Canazi led the winners with 18 points while Allyson Clarke added 17 points and a team-high nine rebounds. Megan Gallagher added 14 points and Jackie Anthony 11.
Geneva is battling with Robert Morris and Seton Hill for third place in the standings and a first-round home playoff game.
The Golden Tornadoes will play at Robert Morris Saturday and a victory would ensure a home playoff game on Tuesday in the first round of the AMC tournament.
